When I was in college, I used to plaster my AIM profile with a "Wenchiest Item of the Day." This item typically consisted of the most ridiculous, bizarre, annoying, or amusing thing that I had seen or heard that day. I had a bit of a following. Seriously.
Now, after at least 5 years, I finally want to reinstate the Wenchiest Item, at least for a day, and here's why: After cleaning up my classroom after my freshmen left (which is supremely annoying in and of itself), I found a note. And the note said - and I can only hope that it was referring to me - "She looks like Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus." It really made my day. No joke. I mean, I love those books, and Ms. Frizzle. Dork. I know it.
The only problem is, I just got my hair cut in a bad way, and although I am flattered to be compared to my favorite fictional teacher, I'm not so thrilled that the main reason for that is most likely my outlandish and unruly locks.
What hair products did Ms. Frizzle use while trapped in Arnold's digestive system? I could really use some of that business right now.
